Club Recognizes Members for Service

During the Annual Christmas Banquet, Awards Chairman Larry Tingen presented the following individuals with Club Awards:
Rookie of the Year
Roger Baldwin
Citizen of the Year
Jim Parker
Ruritan of the Year
Ron Reid
Family of the Year
Jim and Elaine Scarlett.

2007 Club Awards

Mountain View Ruritan Club earned the following Community Service Awards for their work in 2007. District Governor Paul Manard and Co-Zone Governors Ron Reid and Don McBane presened these awards to the club's vice president Jim Scarlett at the District Convention on October 27, 2007.

Blue Ribbon Winner

Mountain View Ruritan Club has been awarded the Ruritan National Blue Ribbon for its service to the community in 2006. The Rocky-Mount/Durham Lt Governor Judy Camain will present the award to the club on October 11, 2007. |
Outstanding Past President Award

Katherin Tingen has been selected to receive the Outstanding Past President Award. Katherin was the 2006 President of the Mountain View Ruritan Club. The Rocky-Mount/Durham Lt Governor will present the award at the October 11, 2007 club meeting. |
